These green beans are a fabulous side dish with almost anything. I love to serve them with fish or lamb and my recipe for lemon thyme halibut or rosemary crusted lamb is a perfect meal combination.
1lb green beans, trimmed
2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
4 cloves garlic, sliced fine
2 teaspoons fresh thyme, chopped
1/8 cup extra virgin olive oil
On medium heat, heat the olive oil in a sauté pan large enough to hold all the beans. Add the beans, tomatoes, garlic and thyme until tender crisp, about 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
